At SSCC (formerly Port Elgin MIssionary Church), it's our desire as a congregation to be an enjoyable, life-giving community, where people walk with each other and help each other on God's plan for their lives.  In our busy lives, the challenge of developing and maintaining a sense of connectedness and community may seem beyond reach! Our conviction is that when we join in life's journey with each other in intentional ways, we will start to see a church that really makes a positive difference.

We believe in FAMILY. 

God designed the family, and while we each belong to a physical family, we are a CHURCH FAMILY as well.  Family is about relationships, growth, learning, passing on values and beliefs.  Building on a solid foundation is key.

At SSCC, we are about FAMILY FOUNDATIONS.

Our foundation in Christ and on His Word means that God is central to who we are.  And because of that, we desire to grow in faith, and share His love with others in tangible ways.  Emphasizing and connecting with our mission statement to "Restore, Rebuild, and Renovate" lives ... Family Foundations serves to provide spiritual instruction, tangible outreach, and social opportunities across all ages!

We seek to accomplish our Mission of restoring, rebuilding, and renovating lives by:

...Encouraging involvement in Cell Groups to Build deep, meaningful relationships, establish sound Biblical knowledge, and minister to others.
